August 1, 2012

Calling all Animals.  Explore animals using hints in clues given over a cellphone.  Discover which animal you think it is and even do a little hunting yourself.  If you are a good animal explore, come check this program out at the amphitheater.

Curious about the Brachiopod Trail?  Join Naturalist Lee Ann Harling to explore the flora and fauna of this 1.5 mile trail.  Begin at the nature center for this outdoor adventure.

Meet the Mammals: Striped Skunk.  Drop by the amphitheater to explore the amazing world of this smelly mammal.  Join the naturalist for this hands-on experience.

Summer Flowers.  Take a gentle walk to discover flowers in bloom and their importance to the natural world. Begin at the nature center for this outdoor adventure.

Hoppers and Jumpers.  Drop by the amphitheater for some high jumpers, loud croakers and fun amphibians.   Learn amazing adaptations and make a frog to take home.

Woodland Walk.  Explore the changing forest and discover its treasures.  Meet at the amphitheater for this relaxing hike of discovery.  10:00 am
Of Rocks and Water.  Stroll along the rocky shoreline to explore how the Great Lakes impact our lives.  Meet at the amphitheater.
