Fall Dune Volunteer Day.  With more people preparing to explore and enjoy Wisconsin this winter, the State Park System is going to be busy!  Therefore, the Friends of Whitefish Dunes are organizing a work day at the park so that you can give back to the park that you love!  Join the Friends, DNR staff, and people from your community for some hands-on work to protect, preserve, and prepare the park for winter. The Friends of Whitefish Dunes encourage all to spend the whole day, morning or afternoon giving of their time and talents.  Crews of all levels of ability, strengths and ages are needed.  Work projects include bluebird house preparation, trail work, litter pickup, grid system removal, inside activities and much more.

Children under the ages of 16 are welcome but must work with a parent/adult.  Lunch and snack provided. Morning session begins at 9:00am.

Lunch is at noon and the afternoon session begins at 1:00pm. Make a difference in your park.
Contact the park for more information or to sign up, at 920-823-2400.  Gather your friends, neighbors and organizational groups to help out.  Come dressed to get dirty! Advanced registration is free, but requested.
